1. To confirm a booking, and reserve your date,
a deposit of £50.00 is required. (If vase hire
is required then the deposit amount may vary – please
ask for details). Please make cheques payable to Bespoke Wedding
Designs. Credit card facilities are also available.
2. The total balance is due one calendar month before the event date required. Failure to pay this instalment on time may result in the cancellation of the booking in line with our cancellation policy (below) and loss of the deposit.
3. Cancellations / failure to pay by the client: If a confirmed booking is cancelled by the client 90 days before the event, then 50% of the remaining balance must be paid. If the client cancels within 60 days of the event the full remaining balance must be paid. If the client fails to pay the balance within the timescale indicated in clause 2, this will be classed as breach of contract, the booking will be cancelled by Bespoke Wedding Designs, and the debt will be passed to an external agency, or legal action will be taken to recover funds. The deposit is non-refundable in any situation listed in clause 3.
4. The customer shall supply by means of security,
credit card details to Bespoke Wedding Designs in respect
of the hire. Bespoke Wedding Designs reserves the right to
present these details at any time for payment of any sums
due in respect of damage, loss, additional cleaning charges
or extended hire. In this instance a £5.00 administration
fee will be added.
5. It is the responsibility of the hirer (if fitting chair covers themselves) to ensure that the chair covers are the correct size to fit the chairs at the venue.
6.All hired equipment remains the sole property of Bespoke Wedding Designs, although the hirer is entirely responsible for any loss or damage to the goods from the time of delivery to return after the event. Any breakages/damage shall be notified upon receipt to Bespoke Wedding Designs prior to use, should this not be done any shortages or damage shall be the responsibility of the hirer.
7. Reasonable wear and tear is expected. Soiling
which can be removed through cleaning is acceptable, although
permanent damage (i.e. tears, ink stains or burns to the linen)
is charged at £15.00 per chair cover and £3.00
per sash. This will be deducted from the credit card details
previously provided listed in clause 4 - in all cases Bespoke
Wedding Designs will notify the hirer of the cause and the
costs involved. Vase hire is subject to idvidual hire/breakage
charges - please ask for full breakdown.
8. Bespoke Wedding Designs shall not be liable in
respect of damages/loss/injury or other damage incurred in
respect of this hire as a result of any defect or damage to
the item and the customer shall satisfy himself/herself of
the suitability/condition/ placement of the equipment upon
receipt.
9. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure
that we are made aware of your timescales, and we have adequate
time to set-up before the commencement of the event.
